A Perfect Circle é um grupo americano formado em 1999 na Califórnia, EUA, por Billy Howerdel e o vocalista da banda Tool, Maynard James Keenan. A formação original da banda também incluia Paz Lenchantin no baixo, Troy Van Leeuwen na guitarra e Tim Alexander na bateria. O último line-up da banda consistia em Jeordie White (conhecido como Twiggy Ramirez, baixista de longa data da banda do Marilyn Manson), o guitarrista original da banda Smashing Pumpkins, James Iha e o baterista Josh Freese. Apesar das mudanças nos integrantes desde o inicio da banda, o estilo de conteúdo das musicas permaneceu consistente com Howerdel como compositor, e Maynard escrevendo as letras. O A Perfect Circle lançou três albuns: Mer de Noms, Thirteenth Step, eMOTIVe. Um box-set DVD/CD, Amotion, também foi lançado e contém treze videoclipes e um número de remixes criados por Danny Lohner. O grupo não gravou ou lançou qualquer material desde o inicio do hiato começado em 2004. The original formation of the band also included Paz Lenchantin on bass, Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar and Tim Alexander on drums. The latest line-up of the band consisted of Jeordie White (aka Twiggy Ramirez, longtime bassist for Marilyn Manson), the original guitarist of the band Smashing Pumpkins, James Iha and drummer Josh Freese. Despite the changes in members since the beginning of the band, the music content style remained consistent with Howerdel as a composer, and Maynard writing lyrics. The A Perfect Circle released three albums: Mer De Noms, Thirteenth Step, eMOTIVe. A box set DVD / CD, Amotion, has also been released and contains thirteen music videos and a number of remixes created by Danny Lohner. The group has not recorded or released any material since the beginning of the gap started in 2004.
