Stevie Wonder compositor, cantor e ativista de causas humanitárias e sociais estadunidense. Assinou contrato com a Tamla Records, selo da Motown Records aos onze anos e continua com a mesma até hoje. Gravou mais de trinta sucessos que alcançaram o top ten e ganhou vinte e cinco Grammy Awards, o maior número já ganho por um artista masculino. Stevie Wonder nasceu em Saginaw, Michigan em 1950. Devido ao nascimento prematuro, em seis semanas os vasos sanguíneos da parte de trás de seus olhos ainda não tinham chegado na parte frontal e seu crescimento abortado causou o descolamento das retinas, tornando-o cego de nascimento.
