A BANDA MAMBOLADA carimbou o seu nome no mercado musical, como uma das principais representantes de um movimento conhecido pela mistura de ritmos afro-caribenhos com a lambada e carimbó somados com a percussão baiana. Esta proposta presente no mercado desde o início dos anos 2000, se consolidou e conquistou muitos fãs atraídos pelo ritmo envolvente de canções como "Larica", "Volare", "Só com você“ entre outros hits que marcaram geração e se tornaram alguns dos hits de maior sucesso d a banda. Seu primeiro album “Mambolada Chacoalha ao vivo" foi lançado em 2001 pela gravadora Abril Music e vendeu mais de 120 mil copias, o que levou o grupo a desbravar o cenário nacional . Em 2003 lançou o álbum “Mambolada Beat Bom" com 100 mil cópias vendidas e em 2005 lançou o álbum “Mambolada de bem com a vida" que levou o grupo a se consolidar no mercado inclusive com a participação em importantes eventos de música pelo Brasil a fora como: Festival de Verão, Mulhegada, Mambo Beach (Sergipe), Carnaval de Salvador e presenças nas principais micaretas da Bahia.
