Em 1978, Marcos começou sua carreira musical como baterista em uma banda de heavy metal. Marcos mudou-se para Portugal em 1986 e tocou música dos Beatles para os turistas. Ele primeiro mergulhou em música eletrônica em 1989, quando ele comprou um sampler digital. A primeira música que ele gravou em que foi chamado de " Maxwell House." Em 1994, lançou seu primeiro álbum de estúdio Maya in Planet Dog Records, que foi nomeado para o Mercury Music Prize em seu lançamento. Ele foi seguido em 1995 pelo aclamado Last Train To Lhasa. Em 20 de setembro de 2009, o Banco De Gaia teve um show de lançamento para seu álbum, Memories Dreams Reflections no Dingwalls em Londres . Esse show foi para comemorar 20 anos do Banco de Gaia. In 1978 , Mark began his musical career as a drummer in a heavy metal band . Mark moved to Portugal in 1986 and played Beatles music for tourists . He first delved into electronic music in 1989 when he bought a digital sampler. The first song he recorded in what was called the " Maxwell House . " In 1994 he released his first studio album Maya in Planet Dog Records , which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in its release . He was followed in 1995 by acclaimed Last Train To Lhasa . Both albums reached No1 in the UK independent charts and featured in the national top 40 album chart . In the following decade Banco De Gaia released Live At Glastonbury , Big Men Cry . In 1997 , Banco De Gaia riding a five-piece band that included Ted Duggan (drums ) , Ashley Hopkins (bass), Larry Whelan ( Wind Synth , Sax and Ethnic Flutes ) , and Gary Spacey -Foot ( Percussion and Saxophone ) . The band is reduced in number to just Marks , Duggan , and Hopkins in 1999 , and then just Marks and Duggan from 2000 until 2003, when Marcos went back to being a solo artist. On September 20, 2009 , Banco De Gaia had a release show for their album, Memories Dreams Reflections at Dingwalls in London . This show was to celebrate 20 years of the Banco de Gaia . A Banda Malta é formada pelos quatro integrantes Adriano Daga (Bateria), Bruno Boncini (Vocal), Diego Lopes (Baixo) e Thor Moraes (Guitarra) - todos de São Paulo. O grupo, formado em setembro de 2013, estreou nos palcos do reality show Superstar da Rede Globo e foi o grande vencedor. Os quatro se apresentaram apenas com músicas de autoria própria, voltadas para o Rock Pop Nacional. Apesar de muitos piercings, tatuagem, roupas pretas e guitarra, a banda prega “o amor” em todas as canções. O quarteto define seu estilo como “bruto romântico” e este contraste tem a intenção de agradar a um público mais maduro. A banda paulistana se tornou-se notória por ter sido a vencedora da 1ª temporada do programa SuperStar, da Rede Globo. Através de um amigo souberam da abertura das inscrições para o programa e resolveram mandar o material, na verdade ainda nem tinham o material, a banda era muito nova, saíram correndo atrás de fotos, vídeos e gravações especialmente para o programa. Depois de algum tempo a produção entrou em contato com a banda interessada no trabalho, foi aí que tudo começou. Apesar da banda Malta ser uma novidade, tanto no programa como fora dele, os integrantes são músicos com vários anos de carreira. A banda Capim Cubano foi formada em junho de 2003 em João Pessoa, capital da Paraíba e toca música latina: Salsa, Merengue, Cúmbia, Música Cigana, Rhumba, Pop Latino, etc. É formada por 9 (nove) Músicos: Yegor Gómez (Voz Percussão e Violino), Stenio Alencar (Baixo e Vocal), Clodoaldo Mucarbel (Guitarra, Violão e Vocal), Lula Nicácio (Bateria e Vocal), André Ricardo (Teclados), Francy Moura (Percussão), além de trio de Metais (2 Trumpetes e 1 trombone). A idéia da Banda é explorar os ritmos latinos, que são contagiantes e que agradam muito aos brasileiros, independentemente de idade ou classe social, por serem ritmos “calientes” e predominantemente dançantes, assim como os nossos ritmos nativos (samba, forró etc.). A Banda, por diversas vezes, dividiu o palco com grandes expressões do meio musical, tais como: Jota Quest, Babado Novo, Timbalada, Raça Negra, Ney Matogrosso, Reginaldo rossi, Calcinha Preta, Zé Ramalho, entre outros. Bonerama foi formada em 1998 pelos trompetistas Mark Mullins e Craig Klein, que, a partir de 1990 até o final de 2006, também eram membros de big band Harry Connick Jr.'s. Pouco tempo depois, eles adicionaram trombonistas Steve Suter, Brian O'Neill, e Rick Trolsen, saxofonista Charlie Kruger, o guitarrista Bert Cotton e o baterista Eric Bolivar. De New Orleans o baterista Russell Batiste, Stanton Moore, Doug Belote, Chad Gilmore, Terence Higgins, e Kevin O'Day também foram tocar com Bonerama por períodos de tempo. Mais tarde, o saxofonista Matt Perrine substituiu Charlie Kruger. O trombonista Brian O'Neill teve um ataque cardíaco e morreu durante um show solo de piano em Nova Orleans, em dezembro de 2005. Bonerama lançou seu primeiro álbum em 2001, com críticas positivas da revista OffBeat, Gambit Weekly, e The Times Picayune. O nome do grupo “Stronda” tem como significado um estilo de vida, seria a pessoa que sai para curtir a vida e se divertir, a pessoa que vai strondar. Entre alguns dos maiores sucessos do grupo estão: Nossa Química, Tic Tic Nervoso, XXT, Mansão Thug Stronda, Playsson Raiz, Esbórnia e Álcool, entre vários outros.
