O baixista Lemmy Kilmister começou na música ainda na década de 1960, como roadie da banda de Jimi Hendrix. A sua estreia profissional no meio artístico dar-se-ia com a banda de rock psicodélico Hawkwind que alcançou alguns hits na década de 1970. Mais tarde Lemmy viria a ser despedido dos HawKwind por ter sido barrado no aeroporto do Canadá por porte de drogas (na verdade se tratava de anfetamina). Lemmy não cruza os braços e decide então montar a sua própria banda com o baterista Lucas Fox e Larry Wallis, chamando esta nova banda de Bastards, mas em seguida mudando o nome para Motörhead (uma gíria americana usada por viciados em anfetaminas) que foi o nome de sua última contribuição para os HawKwind. Lucas Fox foi trocado por Phil ("Philthy Animal") Taylor que era um músico amador e amigo de infância de Lemmy. Depois da gravação do que seria o primeiro álbum, On Parole, que não chegou a ser lançado pela gravadora por ser considerado pouco comercial, decidem chamar um segundo guitarrista para a banda, "Fast" Eddie Clarke. Larry Wallis logo sairia da banda, que voltaria então a ser um trio. O primeiro álbum (autointitulado) foi finalmente lançado em 1977 por uma gravadora pequena. Overkill, segundo álbum, foi o primeiro lançado por uma gravadora grande, em 1979, gerando o primeiro hit da banda, o cover "Louie Louie". Com Bomber (1979) e Ace of Spades (1980) a banda alcançou o grande público e teve relançada a gravação inédita do princípio de carreira, On Parole, que havia sido desprezada pelas gravadoras quando de sua gravação original. Em 1992 lançaram March ör Die, seu maior sucesso comercial, com participação do guitarrista Slash (Ex-Guns N' Roses) em diversas canções e uma parceria com Ozzy Osbourne na canção "Hellraiser" (também lançada por Ozzy no álbum No More Tears), presente no game Grand Theft Auto San Andreas e fartamente divulgada em rádios e MTV. Após desentendimentos com a gravadora Sony lançaram Bastards (1993) por um pequeno selo germânico, não tendo uma grande repercussão. Após o lançamento do álbum Sacrifice o guitarrista Mick Wurzel abandonou a banda, que voltou a ser um trio. O ano de 2000 é marcado pelo aniversário de 25 anos do Motörhead com um show na Brixton Academy, que vira álbum três anos depois. Em 2004, a banda grava o disco Inferno e segue em turnê pelo Reino Unido em parceria com o Sepultura. Um ano depois, o Motörhead ganha o Grammy na categoria Melhor Performance de Metal. Nos anos seguintes o Motörhead grava mais três discos: “Kiss of Death” (2006), “Better Motörhead Than Dead: Live at Hammersmith” (2007) e “Motörizer” (2008). Judas Priest é uma banda britânica de heavy metal que foi criada em meados de 1969, em Birmingham. O Judas Priest é tido junto ao Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden e Motörhead como as quatro maiores bandas de Heavy Metal do mundo. O primeiro disco da banda, Rocka Rolla, foi lançado em 1974 pela Gull Records. A partir do disco Sin After Sin, o terceiro da banda, todos os seus trabalhos foram lançados pela Columbia/Sony até 1990. A banda vendeu cerca de 50 milhões de discos em 44 anos de existência. A banda Judas Priest pode ser considerada uma das precursoras do heavy metal moderno sendo um dos grupos mais influentes do metal dos anos 70. Tratou-se da primeira banda a unir o peso e temática violenta criados pelo Black Sabbath à velocidade de alguns grupos de rock como o Deep Purple, adicionaram uma frente de ataque com duas guitarras1 e também foram os responsáveis pela retirada do blues2 característico de grupos de hard rock britânico dos anos 70 formado pela tríade Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath e Deep Purple. Foram também responsáveis pela adoção das roupas de couro com adereços de metal cromados e correntes advindos do punk rock entre os apreciadores de rock. Formada por originalmente Al Atkins (vocalista), K.K. Downing (guitarrista), Ian Hill (baixista) e John Ellis (baterista). O nome Judas Priest (baseado no nome de uma música de Bob Dylan, The Ballad Of Frankie Lee And Judas Priest) já havia sido usado por uma banda anterior de Atkins e Ellis, que logo sairiam da nova formação, dando lugar a Rob Halford (vocalista) e John Hinch (baterista) que tinham tocado na banda Hiroshima. Mais tarde se juntou à banda mais um guitarrista, Glenn Tipton (as guitarras dobradas seriam mais uma marca a ser imitada entre as bandas de heavy metal inglesas que se seguiram). Durante anos, lançando discos por selos locais, a banda não conseguiu sair do underground (a sonoridade era realmente má), mas conseguiu juntar uma legião de seguidores e outras bandas que copiavam seu estilo. O álbum estreia da banda foi Rocka Rolla, em 1974. O disco foi produzido por Rodger Bain, que ficou conhecido por produzir os três primeiros álbuns do Black Sabbath. Após o lançamento, o baterista John Hinch abandonou a banda e foi substituído por Alan Moore (que havia tocado algumas vezes com o Priest logo após a saída de Ellis).
