Hoobastank é uma banda americana de rock alternativo. Ficou conhecida principalmente depois do grande sucesso “The Reason”, mas vale destacar as três músicas do seu terceiro álbum, chamado de Every Man for Himself, que são: “Inside of You”, “Look Where We Are” e “Good Enough”. Recentemente lançaram o álbum For(n)ever, trazendo a canção “My Turn” que já tocava nas rádios estadunidenses. No começo dos anos 90, o vocalista Doug Robb e o guitarrista Dan Estrin estavam competindo em um concurso de bandas no colégio quando se impressionaram com as habilidades do oponente. Então, eles deixaram os grupos que faziam parte e resolveram se juntar com o baixista Markku Lappainem e o baterista Chris Hesse para formar o grupo Hoobastank. Algum tempo depois, os garotos estavam no circuito West Coast, famoso evento musical nos EUA. Já em 1998, a banda lançou um álbum independente, “They Sure Don’t Make Basketball Shorts Like They Used To”. As vendas de discos foram boas nos shows e, um tempo depois, atingiu a Internet, o que gerou fãs do Hoobastank no exterior dos EUA, como Brasil, Russia, Inglaterra e Israel. Depois disso, em alguns meses todos álbuns foram vendidos. A banda deles não tem um nome normal, mas os quatro caras do Hoobastank são caras normais. Eles tem vidas normais, fazem coisas normais e tem o mesmo senso de humor que seus fãs. He was known especially after the great success "The Reason", but it is worth noting the three songs from their third album, called Every Man for Himself, which are: "Inside of You", "Look Where We Are" and "Good Enough" . In the early 90s, vocalist Doug Robb and guitarist Dan Estrin were competing in a band contest in high school when impressed with the skills of the opponent. So they left the groups that were part and decided to join with bassist Markku Lappainem and drummer Chris Hesse to form Hoobastank group. Some time later, the boys were in the loop West Coast, famous music event in the US. In 1998, the band released an independent album, "They Sure Do not Make Basketball Shorts Like They Used To".
