O Blues Etílicos é uma banda de blues brasileira, que executa, com maestria um dos mais tradicionais gêneros da música popular norte-americana: o blues. Muito antes da tão falada fusão de ritmos, o Blues Etílicos reinventava o blues ao melhor estilo brasileiro. É a banda de blues brasileira a mais tempo em atividade e com as maiores vendagens de discos no segmento. Com praticamente a mesma formação desde 1987, à exceção da entrada do baterista Pedro Strasser em 1994 e da participação do vocalista Vasco Faé entre 2003 e 2005, a banda manteve sua carreira ininterrupta realizando mais de 1.500 apresentações em todo Brasil e grande parte da América do Sul. Participou de todos os festivais de blues que aconteceram no país, abrindo shows para B. B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Magic Slim, Sugar Blue e muitos outros. Flávio Guimarães, fundador da banda e gaitista referência no blues e rock nacionais, já tocou com Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Magic Slim, Charlie Musselwhite e vários grandes nomes do blues norte americano.
