Peter Tosh (nasceu no dia 19 de outubro de 1944 – faleceu no dia 11 de setembro de 1987) foi um pioneiro músico de reggae/ska. Militante, bem-instruído e encrenqueiro, Tosh era o Malcolm X da personalidade estilo Martin Luther King representada por Bob Marley. Batizado Winston Hubert McIntosh, ele cresceu em Kingston, Jamaica, na favela de Trenchtown. Slash's Snakepit foi uma banda de hard rock americana de Los Angeles formada pelo guitarrista Slash em 1993, quando ele ainda era integrante do Guns N' Roses.
