Calvin Cordozar Broadus (Long Beach, Califórnia), é rapper e ator norte-americano. Ganhou o apelido de “Snoopy” de sua mãe e adotou o nome artístico de Snoop Doggy Dogg quando começou a gravar. Nascido em Long Beach, na Califórnia, entrou no mundo do rap como um orgulhoso representante da costa oeste dos Estados Unidos. Em 1992, quando ele surgiu, a costa oeste era conhecida por rappers como Tupac, Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube e Ice T, artistas inteligentes e da linha gangsta rap, que pintavam um retrato realista e perturbador da vida. Snoop Dogg começou a carreira como membro do grupo 213, que também incluía Warren G (meio-irmão de Dr. Dre) e Nate Dogg, conhecidos mais pelas suas carreiras solo do que pelo grupo. Busta Rhymes, nome artístico de Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., (Brooklyn, Nova York, 20 de maio de 1972), é um músico de hip hop e ator americano de ascendência jamaicana. Chuck D do Public Enemy deu a ele o apelido Busta Rhymes em homenagem ao wide receiver da NFL George "Buster" Rhymes. Ele é mais conhecido por sua técnica habilidosa de fazer rap, que envolve cantar em um ritmo muito rápido, e até hoje ele recebeu onze nomeações para o Grammy por seu trabalho musical. Busta nasceu no bairro de Red Hook em Brooklyn, New York, filho dos imigrantes jamaicanos Geraldine Green e Trevor Smith.1 2 3 4 Ele estudou na George Westinghouse Career and Technical Education High School, onde os rappers Jay-Z e The Notorious B.I.G. também estudavam.
