FILÓ MACHADO - Em 1980, sua composição "Jogral", parceria com Djavan e José Neto, foi incluída no disco "Seduzir", de Djavan. Em 1984, gravou o LP "Canto fatal", no qual incluiu várias composições de sua autoria: "Vice-versa" (c/ Sergio Natureza); "Cavalo do cão" (c/ Cacaso); "Boca de dendê" (c/ Aldir Blanc); "Perfume de cebola" (c/ Cacaso); "Poesia no sangue" (c/ Judith de Souza); "Desejo, desejado" (c/ Zé Maurício); "Buraco" (c/ Fátima Guedes) e "Arco-íris da paz", em parceria com Judith de Souza e Jane Duboc, que também fez uma participação especial nessa faixa. Em 1993, já radicado na França, lançou para esse mercado o CD "Oxala pere", no qual incluiu, entre outras, "Pause" (c/ Luciana de Garammont), "Menino de ouro" (c/ Judith de Souza), "Poeta diferente" (c/ Francisco Blanco). Ainda nesse disco, interpretou "Odira-e", de autoria de Celso Machado e Márcia Gatto, e "Ao amigo Filó", composição de Hermeto Pascoal feita em sua homenagem, além da regravação de "Jogral". Como instrumentista, trabalhou com Michel Legrand. Em 2001, lançou, pela gravadora paulista Lua Discos, o CD "Porto seguro". No ano seguinte, lançou o disco "Milagre da canção". Em 2003, a cantora Elizah interpretou "Brasil diarista", parceria de ambos. Nesse ano, apresentou-se no Mistura Fina (RJ), com show de lançamento do disco "Cantando samba". Benson nasceu em Pittsburgh, EUA, numa família de refinados músicos amadores. Aos seis anos já tinha começado a se apresentar ao público. Um ano depois, sua mãe se casou com um eletricista que também tocava guitarra de jazz amplificada. Infelizmente, suas mãos eram pequenas demais para alcançar o instrumento em toda a sua extensão e ele acabou ganhando um ukulele (pequeno violão de quatro cordas). Mesmo assim, alguns anos mais tarde, Benson ganhou a sua primeira guitarra. Em 1953 - ainda com 10 - ele gravou o single "She Makes Me Mad" nos estúdios da RCA. Em 1963, Benson lança seu primeiro disco, "The New Boss Guitar Of George Benson", pelo selo Prestige, passando ainda por diversas gravadoras durante a década de 60. Até que em 1971, ele assina pela gravadora CTI, onde o produtor Creed Taylor tenta promover um novo estilo musical, fundindo jazz e pop. Benson was born in Pittsburgh, USA, in a family of refined amateur musicians. At six had already begun to present to the public. A year later, his mother married an electrician who also played amplified jazz guitar. Unfortunately, his hands were too small to reach the instrument in all its extension and he ended up winning a ukulele (small four-stringed guitar). Banda de Hardcore Punk norte-americana formada en 1988 en Hermosa Beach, pequena comunidade ao sul de Los Angeles. Teve seu nome inspirado na criatura do livro de horror de Stephen King, It. É uma das principais bandas da cena hardcore punk californiana, ao lado de nomes como NOFX e Bad Religion. Suas letras politizadas, sempre com muitos protestos, e som rápido, logo destacaram a banda na cena underground norte-americana, angariando fãs pelo mundo todo. Seus concertos, sempre com muita energia também são uma marca da banda, que quase teve um fim prematuro, com o suicídio de seu primeiro baixista, Jason Thirsk, que também era um dos pricipais compositores. Após o lançamento do álbum Unknown Road em 1993, a banda recebeu propostas de grandes gravadoras, mas preferiu permanecer na Epitaph Records, e manter seu som original.
