Filho do casal de imigrantes portugueses Antônio Augusto Sardinha e Adosinda dos Anjos Sardinha, foi o primeiro a nascer no Brasil. O pai tocava guitarra portuguesa e violão. Desde muito cedo interessou-se pela música, iniciando seus experimentos em uma viola improvisada de pau e corda. Desde os 11 anos de idade, começou a trabalhar para auxiliar no sustento da casa, empregando-se como ajudante numa loja de instrumentos situada no bairro do Brás. Seu primeiro instrumento, um banjo, lhe foi dado por seu irmão Batista, que além de dedilhar o instrumento, era violonista e cantor. O nome "Groundation" vem do esforço para que todas as pessoas atinjam um mesmo nível, podendo assim educar e aprender uns com aos outros, sem a presença de uma hierarquia. A banda foi fundada em 1998 por Harrison Stafford, Marcus Urani, e Ryan Newman. Em 1999, Stafford convocou Kris Dilbeck para fundar Young Tree Records e lançar o primeiro disco do Groundation, com o mesmo nome da gravadora. Em 2000 juntaram-se a eles David Chachere, que toca trompete, e Kelsey Howard, para o trombone. O saxofonista Jason Robinson participou da banda por um tempo, mas não continuou. Slayer é uma banda de thrash metal formada nos Estados Unidos da América. Começou a ser formada em 1981 pelos guitarristas Kerry King e Jeff Hanneman, que juntos a Tom Araya, baixista, e ao baterista Dave Lombardo, fundaram o que seria uma das bandas pioneiras no thrash metal mundial. A origem de seu nome pode ser traduzida como “carrasco” ou “matador” ao contrário do que dizem, não foi baseado no filme chamado “Dragon Slayer”, o próprio Kerry King confirmou isto. Lançou seu primeiro álbum no ano de 1983, “Show No Mercy”. A banda é considerada umas das pioneiras do thrash metal, junto com Anthrax, Megadeth, Exodus e Metallica. O Slayer costuma abordar em suas músicas temas como: violência, satanismo, anti-religião, morte. Algumas pessoas podem, pela temática e peso, considerá-la uma banda de black metal ou até mesmo de death metal. Mas a definição mais coerente é mesmo thrash metal, pois coloca lado a lado estilos como o hardcore e o metal, fazendo um estilo tirando proveito do crossover que pode ser feito no mundo musical. O Slayer foi formado em 1981, quando o guitarrista Kerry King se uniu a Jeff Hanneman enquanto fazia audição para uma banda. Os dois recrutaram o baixista e vocalista Tom Araya, que havia tocado com King em uma banda anterior. O baterista Dave Lombardo foi recrutado quando ele conheceu King entregando uma pizza. A banda tocou versões cover de canções do Iron Maiden e do Judas Priest, em clubes e festas no sul da Califórnia. Biquini Cavadão é uma banda de rock brasileira formada em 1983 no Rio de Janeiro. Atualmente composto por Bruno Gouveia, Carlos Coelho, Miguel Flores e Álvaro “Birita” Lopes tendo como músicos convidados o baixista e Produtor Marcelo Magal e o saxofonista Walmer Carvalho, a banda fez parte da segunda geração de bandas dos anos 1980. Em 1983, Bruno, Álvaro e Miguel, colegas de terceiro ano do Colégio São Vicente de Paulo, decidiram tocar, junto com mais alguns amigos, num sarau, uma espécie de festival de música. Com o sucesso de sua apresentação, eles decidiram fazer daquela ousadia um habito. Após muitas formações, receberam do amigo Herbert Vianna a sugestão do nome Biquini Cavadão. Bruno passou apenas a cantar, Miguel assumiu totalmente o teclado e Alvaro foi novamente chamado para o grupo, desta vez tocando bateria, ao invés de violão. Após vários meses fizeram Tédio, e esta música foi o chamariz para que Carlos Beni (ex-Kid Abelha) insistisse em gravá-los.A demo, que contou com Herbert na guitarra, foi parar na Rádio Fluminense FM , berço de várias bandas de rock nos anos 1980. O sucesso da demo, os levou à Polygram para gravar um compacto no começo de 85. Faltava um guitarrista: Carlos Coelho apareceu logo após o segundo show profissional realizado pela banda. A sua integração se deu rapidamente colaborando nas composições e gravando todos os programas de TV.
