Cantora. Compositora. Nasceu em Londrina, onde morou até os dois anos. A família, logo depois, transferiu-se para Recife, passando na capital pernambucana a adolescência. Em 1987 formou-se em psicologia pela Universidade Cristã de Nova York -NYACK College. Poliglota, fala francês, inglês, espanhol e italiano. Em 1994 casou-se com Edson Arantes do Nascimento, o rei Pelé, com que teve três filhos: Gemima, Joshuá e Celeste. Em 2000 lançou o CD "O Amor Verdadeiro", no qual foram incluídos hinos tradicionais, relembrados do tempo em que acompanhava a mãe (Gemina Seixas Lemos) nos cultos da Igreja Batista. Deste CD destacou-se o clássico internacional "Amazing grace", executado em várias emissoras gospel por todo o país. No ano seguinte, lançou o CD "Ao Mundo Deus Amou", do qual destacaram-se as faixas "Teu perdão", feita em parceria com Kléber Lucas, e a faixa-título "Ao mundo Deus amou", ambas muito executadas em emissoras segmentadas no mercado gospel. No ano de 2002, convidada por Brian Hardin, gravou em Nashville, Tenesse (EUA), o CD "Assíria", com canções interpretadas em inglês, sendo considerada a primeira cantora gospel brasileira a lançar um disco deste gênero nos Estados Unidos. Em 2003, como a primeira cantora gospel contratada pela gravadora Som Livre, lançou o CD "Novo Tempo". No disco, produzido por Aramis Barros, foram incluídos clássicos nacionais e internacionais do segmento gospel: "Salmo 126", "Draw me close to you" (Traz-me junto a ti), "Que seria de mi" (O que seria de mim), "Open the eyes of my heart" (Abra os olhos do meu coração), "Como se cura uma herida" (Como se cura uma ferida), "Breathe" (Ar para o meu viver), "I can sing of your love forever" (Cantarei teu amor para sempre) e "I will be here", versão para "Aqui estarei".
