Johnny Clarke (nascido em 12 de janeiro de 1955) é um músico de reggae jamaicano. Ele cresceu no gueto de Kingston Whitfield Town. Em 1971, com a idade de dezessete anos, venceu o concurso de talentos em Bull Bay, seu prêmio foi uma reunião com produtores Clancy Eccles, com quem gravou sua primeira canção, "God Made the Sea and the Sun" no ano seguinte. O single não vendeu muito bem devido a pouca divulgação. Ele então passou a trabalhar com Rupie Edwards, que produziu o primeiro álbum de hits de Clarke em 1973, "Everyday Wondering y Julie". Em 1974, Clarke continuou, gravando 'Jump Back Baby' para Glen Brown, depois começpu uma grande associação com Bunny Lee e sua banda The Aggrovators em 1974. Muitas das canções de Clarke se preocupa com a fé e as crenças do movimento Rastafari, a luta contra a violência (como ouvi em Let Go violência) e a legalização da maconha (Legalize It). Johnny Clarke (born January 12, 1955) is a Jamaican reggae musician. He grew up in the Kingston ghetto of Whitfield Town. In 1971, at the age of seventeen, won the talent contest in Bull Bay, his prize was a meeting with producer Clancy Eccles, with whom he recorded his first song, "God Made the Sea and the Sun" in the following year . The single did not sell well due to poor disclosure. He then went on to work with Rupie Edwards, who produced the first album of hits from Clarke in 1973, "Everyday Wondering y Julie". In 1974, Clarke continued recording "Jump Back Baby" for Glen Brown, after começpu a great association with Bunny Lee and his band The Aggrovators in 1974. Lot of the songs Clarke cares about the faith and beliefs of the Rastafari movement, fight against violence (as heard on Let Go violence) and the legalization of marijuana (Legalize It). Grupo de pagode criado em 1993 na cidade de São Paulo por amigos que tocavam por diversão numa praça. Integrado por Agnaldo Nascimento Apolinário (tantã), Thiago Carvalho Santana (teclado), Douglas Fernando Monteiro (voz), Clayson Rangel Batista (violão) e Eduardo Pereira Pacheco (pandeiro), o grupo teve como primeiro nome Revelação do Samba. Com este nome, participou do Festival do Choppapo, uma casa de espetáculos da capital paulista, classificando-se em 2º lugar. Neste mesmo ano, na coletânea "Pagode de Primeira II", da gravadora Zimbabwe, foram incluídas "Sonho real" e "Sonho de um poeta", as primeiras gravações do grupo. Nessa época, mudou de nome, passando a se chamar Pixote. O primeiro CD do grupo, "Brilho de cristal", foi lançado por um selo independente criado pelo grupo em 1995, quando a idade média dos componentes era de 16 anos. O segundo CD, "Tão inocente", foi lançado em 1998, destacando-se as músicas "Bombom demais" e "Saudade de nós". No ano 2000 lançou o terceiro CD: "Tá bom demais". Em 2002, ao lado de outros artistas, participou do disco "Os melhores do ano III", disco no qual interpretou em dueto com Leci Brandão "Natureza" de Leci Brandão e Rosinha de Valença. Em 2011 o grupo fez show no Botequim São Nunca, no Rio de Janeiro, no qual interpretou alguns de seus sucessos, entre os quais "Bombom demais", "Saudade de nós", "Sonho real" e "Sonho de um poeta", tendo como convidado especial do grupo carioca o cantor Bruno Miguel. With this name, participated in the Choppapo Festival, a theater of São Paulo, in 2nd place. In this same year, the First pagoda "II", the label Zimbabwe were included "dream come true" and "Dream of a poet", the Group's early recordings. At that time, changed his name to be called Pixote.
