Electro Spectre é duo um norueguês de música eletrônica formado/em Oslo. A banda é composta por Isak Rypdal (escritor -produtor) e Alexander Björneboe (escritor - cantor). Ex-baixista do grupo Titãs, Nando, mesmo como integrante da banda paulista, já mantinha uma carreira solo onde expunha seu lado de compositor e intérprete. Nos Titãs, integrou o grupo desde o surgimento, em 1982, até 2003. Apesar da saída de Nando, grande parte de sua obra musical está na discografia e na história da banda. No início dos Titãs, Nando era apenas backing vocal e, a partir dos ensaios da banda, começou a tocar baixo. Desde pequeno, adorava tocar violão e compor músicas. Gravou pela primeira vez, como cantor, duas músicas de sua autoria: "Marvin" (parceria com Sérgio Britto) e "Querem Meu Sangue". Nos Titãs, foi autor de muitas músicas de sucesso como: "Os Cegos do Castelo", "Pra Dizer Adeus" (com Tony Belloto), "Bichos Escrotos" (com Arnaldo Antunes e Sérgio Britto) e outros. Fora dos Titãs, teve músicas gravadas por Marisa Monte ("Diariamente"), Cássia Eller ("E.C.T."), Cidade Negra ("Onde Você Mora"). Ainda durante o trabalho com os Titãs, grava três discos paralelamente; o primeiro em 1995 ("12 de Janeiro"), o segundo em 2000 ("Para Quando o Arco-íris Encontrar o Pote de Ouro") e o último, antes de seguir a carreira solo, “Infernal... but there’s still a full moon shining over Jalalabad”. Em 2003, oficialmente fora dos Titãs, o cantor lança “A letra A”. O disco é recheado de músicas que não caberiam em fase alguma da carreira da antiga banda de Nando. São canções longas, sem refrões definidos nem melodias instantaneamente grudentas e uma sonoridade enxuta, porém vigorosa, quase acústica. Com 12 faixas de sua autoria, ainda se pode ouvir sua versão de “Luz dos Olhos”, música dele, inicialmente gravada por Cássia Eller. Mas é em 2004 que Nando consolida sua carreira solo com o CD “MTV Ao Vivo – Nando Reis e Os Infernais”. Junto com sua banda, Os Infernais, Nando canta nesse disco músicas inéditas, covers e sucessos eternizados do cantor. O projeto reuniu clássicos dos Titãs ("Cegos do Castelo" e "Marvin"), além de músicas gravadas por Cássia Eller ("Relicário" e "All Star") e J. Quest ("Do seu lado") e três faixas inéditas. Former bassist of the group Titans, Nando, even as a member of the São Paulo band already had a solo career which exposed its composer aside and interpreter. O Exodus foi formado em 1979 na São Francisco (CA) nos EUA. No início a banda contava com Paul Baloff nos vocais, Tom Hunting na batera, Geoff Andrews no baixo e nas guitarras Gary Holt e Kirk Hammett. Em 82, Exodus grava sua primeira demo chamada “Whipping Queen and Death and Domination” e já marcando presença na cena metal da Califórnia, se torna influência de bandas como Testament e Forbidden. Apenas em 85, o Exodus grava seu primeiro álbum chamado “Bonded by Blood”. O álbum se torna um clássico do metal e o Exodus faz shows com bandas como Metallica, o Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Celtic Frost e Helloween. Meses depois, a banda decide-se por lançar um álbum ao vivo que se chamaria “A Lesson in Violence” e continha as músicas do primeiro álbum gravadas ao vivo e a música “Impaler” (composta por Hammett e que continha um riff mais tarde usado em “Trapped Under Ice” do Metallica). Porém, por um motivo ainda não esclarecido, o álbum foi cancelado e as cópias foram recolhidas das lojas e destruídas. Existe a informação, confirmada pela própria banda, de que restaram 500 cópias espalhadas pelo mundo, e de que uma delas está nas mãos de um fã brasileiro. Mas eles não reconhecem o álbum como parte da discografia oficial. Em 92, após o lançamento do álbum “Force of Habit”, a banda se separa e vai cada músico para o seu lado. Tom Hunting e Rick Hunolt se juntam para formar o Wardance. A banda contava ainda com Jack Gibson no baixo. Após alguns anos, no início de 97, o Exodus se reúne novamente e traz Jack Gibson no posto que era de McKillop e decidem-se por chamar Baloff para os vocais. A banda inicia a tour da América do Norte e Europa e gravam um álbum ao vivo no primeiro show, de 8 de março de 97 em sua cidade natal. Esse álbum se chamou “Another Lesson in Violence” porque continha as músicas do álbum “Bonded by Blood” (A lesson in Violence), mais três músicas (que futuramente fariam parte do “Pleasures of the Flesh”) e “Impaler”, todas compostas enquanto Baloff estava na banda. Também contou com a participação de Andy Sneap, produtor do Napalm Death, confirmando o som pesado do álbum. Na primeira metade da década de 80, o Exodus chegou a ser mais conhecido que o próprio METALLICA nos EUA e atingindo sucesso mundial. Porém, sua popularidade começou a cair devido a problemas de distribuição na gravadora Capitol, para a qual mudaram em 90. Apesar de ser hoje uma banda menos conhecida no Brasil, sua importância é incontestável e ele fica para a história como uma das bandas que melhor conseguiram aliar velocidade, som pesado e qualidade. Sem dúvida, o Exodus influenciou muitas das bandas hoje consagradas com seu thrash de qualidade. At 82, Exodus record their first demo called "Whipping Queen and Death and Domination" and has a presence in the metal scene of California, becomes the influence of bands like Testament and Forbidden. Only in 85, Exodus recorded his first album called "Bonded by Blood". Com o nome de um licor, o grupo foi formado em 1992, depois que o baixista Craig Montoya e o baterista Scott Cuthbert responderem a um anúncio colocado por Art Alexakis nos classificados do jornal de música “The Rocket”, de Seattle. O primeiro álbum, “World of Noise” conseguiu chamar a atenção do público local e de grandes selos. Em 1994 a banda assina com uma gravadora maior, a Capitol Records e Greg Eklund substitui Cuthbert, que sofria com a dependência química. No ano seguinte a banda edita “Sparkle And Fade”, que, através dos singles “Heroin Girl” e “Santa Monica” vendeu incríveis 1,5 milhão de cópias. O segundo disco, chamado “So Much For The Afterglow”, foi lançado em 1997 e vendeu ainda mais, ultrapassando os 2 milhões de cópias vendidas, e a consagração definitiva da banda veio com o prêmio de “Modern Artist of the Year” de 1998, concedido pela Billboard além da premiação de “El distorto de Melodica” pelo Grammy, como melhor música instrumental de rock daquele ano. Em 1999 a banda participa do Woodstock 99’. Depois do sucesso do disco “So Much For The Afterglow”, Art Alexakis decide gravar um album solo, com outros músicos, porém, não fica satisfeito com o resultado e resolve chamar de volta Eklund e Montoya, e por volta de julho de 2000 este projeto se transformaria no álbum intitulado “Songs From An American Movie Vol. 1: Learning How to Smile” com o single “Wonderful”.Alguns meses depois a banda lança o álbum “Songs from an American Movie, Vol. 2: Good Time for a Bad Attitude” com músicas mais agressivas do que o Volume 1, mas toda essa estratégia de marketing não fez muito sucesso com o público. Em 2003 a banda lança seu sexto álbum, chamado “Slow Motion Daydream”, com o single “Volvo Driving Soccer Mom”, porém, vendendo um número de cópias abaixo do esperado. Após o fracasso de vendas do álbum, Craig Montoya e Greg Eklund resolvem deixar a banda e seguir com projetos próprios e a banda deixa, também, a gravadora Capitol Records após lançar um álbum incluindo os maiores sucessos entre os anos de 1994 e 2004, intitulado “Ten Years Gone”. Art Alexakis tentou novamente um projeto solo mas não obteve o sucesso esperado. Então decidiu voltar com a banda convidando novos membros: o baixista Sam Hudson, o guitarista Dave “Davey” French, e o baterista Eric Bretl (que logo foi substituido por Brett Snyder). Em 2006, já com uma gravadora menor, a “Eleven Sevem Music” a banda lança seu último álbum com músicas próprias, chamado “Welcome to the Drama Club”, com o single “Hater”. No ano de 2008 ocorre mais uma mudança na banda, o baterista Tommy Stewart substitui Brett Snyder e neste mesmo ano a banda lança um novo álbum, porém, apenas com covers, chamado “The Vegas Years”.  [Fonte: lastfm]

With the name of a liqueur, the group was formed in 1992 after bassist Craig Montoya and drummer Scott Cuthbert respond to an ad placed in the classifieds of Art Alexakis music newspaper "The Rocket", Seattle. The first album, "World of Noise" managed to draw the attention of the local public and major labels. In 1994 the band signed with major label Capitol Records and Greg Eklund replaces Cuthbert, who suffered with addiction. The following year the band edits "Sparkle And Fade", which, through the singles "Heroin Girl" and "Santa Monica" incredible sold 1.5 million copies. The second disc, called "So Much For The Afterglow", was released in 1997 and sold even more, exceeding 2 million copies sold, and the final consecration of the band came with the award for "Modern Artist of the Year" 1998 awarded by Billboard awards beyond "El distorto of Melodica" by Grammy as best instrumental rock song that year. In 1999 the band participates in Woodstock 99 '. After the success of the album "So Much For The Afterglow", Art Alexakis decided to record a solo album with other musicians, however, is not satisfied with the result and decides to bring back Montoya and Eklund, and by July 2000 this project would become the album titled "Songs From An American Movie Vol. 1: Learning How to Smile" with the single "Wonderful." A few months later the band released the album "Songs from an American Movie, Vol. 2: Good Time for a Bad Attitude" songs with more aggressive than Volume 1, but all this marketing strategy did not have much success with the public. In 2003 the band released their sixth album, called "Slow Motion Daydream" with the single "Volvo Driving Soccer Mom", but selling a copy number lower than expected. After the failure of album sales, Craig Montoya and Greg Eklund decide to leave the band and move with their own projects and the band also leaves the Capitol Records after releasing a greatest hits album including between the years 1994 and 2004, entitled "Ten Years Gone". Art Alexakis tried again a solo project but did not get the expected success. So the band decided to return to inviting new members: bassist Sam Hudson, guitarist Dave "Davey" French, and drummer Eric Bretl (which was soon replaced by Brett Snyder). In 2006 with a smaller label, "Eleven Severn Music" the band released their last album with own songs, called "Welcome to the Drama Club," with the single "Hater". In 2008 another change occurs in the band, drummer Tommy Stewart replaces Brett Snyder and that same year the band released a new album, however, only covers called "The Vegas Years".
