Paula Fernandes de Souza começou a cantar com oito anos de idade e lançou o seu primeiro álbum aos dez, em disco de vinil em 1993. Aos doze anos, mudou-se para São Paulo e foi contratada por uma companhia de rodeios, com a qual viajou por todo o país e aprendeu muito sobre palcos. O segundo álbum, o CD Ana Rayo, foi inspirado no sucesso da novela Ana Raio e Zé Trovão. Dificuldades na carreira fizeram com que, aos 18 anos, desistisse da carreira artística e voltasse para Minas Gerais. Cursou Geografia em Belo Horizonte e, paralelamente, tocava e cantava em barzinhos. Após gravar o sucesso Ave maria natureza para a telenovela América, lançou um CD com diversos estilos musicais, embora com ênfase em sertanejo romântico - Canções do Vento Sul. Por esse álbum, foi indicada ao Prêmio Tim de Música Brasileira de 2006, na categoria de Melhor Cantora Popular. A partir daí, Paula consolidou-se como uma cantora de bela voz, muito eclética (chegando a gravar músicas em inglês, como Dust in the wind) e popular. Seu sucesso Jeito De Mato, do CD Pássaro De Fogo, foi a música mais popular da telenovela Paraíso, como tema de amor dos protagonistas. Paula, esteve incluída na trilha sonora da novela da Rede Globo, Escrito nas Estrelas, cujo tema de abertura foi a regravação de Quando A Chuva Passar, sucesso da cantora baiana Ivete Sangalo. Também esteve na novela seguinte Araguaia, onde esteve ao som de Tocando Em Frente de Almir Sater, juntamente com o cantor Leonardo. Em Outubro de 2010, gravou o seu primeiro DVD da carreira contendo os seus grandes sucessos e músicas inéditas, inclusive com participações especiais de Victor & Leo e Leonardo. O DVD foi lançado no início de 2011. Banda brasileira de metal, surgida em 1984, criada pelos irmãos Max Cavalera e Igor Cavalera em Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. É considerada a banda brasileira de maior repercussão no mundo. O Sepultura possui influências diversificadas, que vão desde o black metal e death metal, passando pelo thrash metal, até inspirações externas ao metal, como hardcore, nu metal, música tribal africana e japonesa, música indígena, entre outros diversos estilos musicais. O nome Sepultura foi escolhido quando Max Cavalera traduzia uma canção do Motörhead chamada "Dancing on Your Grave" . Originalmente tinha a formação de Paulo Jr. (baixista), Igor Cavalera (baterista), Max Cavalera (somente guitarrista) e Wagner Lamounier (guitarrista e vocalista). Em 1985, sai Wagner, que formaria o Sarcófago, e Max assume os vocais, Jairo Guedez entra como segundo guitarrista. No ano seguinte sai Jairo e, em 1987, entra na banda Andreas Kisser em seu lugar, estabelecendo a formação clássica que duraria dez anos. Agora em sua formação atual, o vocal é feito pelo americano Derrick Green e a bateria por Eloy Casagrande, ficando Andreas como guitarrista único.
