Double You começou em 1985, quando William Naraine (Vocalista), Franco Amato (Musico) e Andréa de Antoni (DJ) começaram uma colaboração musical. Em 1991 os caras conheceram o produtor Roberto Zanetti e então o sucesso foi imediato. Em dezembro do mesmo ano “Please Don’t Go” foi gravada. A musica foi lançada em janeiro de 1992 e foi um sucesso instantâneo. O Double You começou a viajar por toda a europa e a aparecer em muitos programas de televisão ao redor do mundo. Eles se tornaram o fenômeno da cena dance mundial. Com mais de três milhões de copias vendidas, “Please Don’t Go” recebeu muitos discos de ouro e platina em paises como Alemanha, França, Espanha, Bélgica, Suíça, Áustria, Grécia, toda a América latina (nenhum país ficou de fora) e em muitos países da África e da Ásia. Donna Summer, foi uma cantora pop norte-americana mais conhecida por suas gravações em estilo disco dos anos 70, que deram a ela o título de Rainha da Disco. Apesar de ser uma das mais conhecidas artistas da “Era Disco’”, seu repertório incluiu diversos gêneros, incluindo “rhythm’n blues” e rock, tendo ganho prêmios “Grammy” nestas categorias. Donna Summer was a pop American best known for his recordings on disc 70s style, which gave her the title Queen of Disco singer. Despite being one of the best known artists of the "disco era", his repertoire included many genres, including "rhythm'n blues" and rock, winning awards "Grammy" in these categories.
